I am Xavier Puspus, currently the head of data science for a contact center AI company based in Utah, USA. I am also a part-time consulting CTO/CDO for a local farm-tech company based in Makati, Manila. I was a subject-matter expert and data science instructor for Project SPARTA of DOST and an advanced analytics instructor for Certified Digital Marketers (CDM). I have previously worked for and/or conducted training for companies such as SN Aboitiz Power, UnitedHealth Group, ABS-CBN, GCash and Baker Mckenzie. Along with 7 years experience in the data science field, I've also taught data science and analytics to college students, professionals and executives for 4 years, coupled with 4 years experience in people, data and data science project management.

My journey began as an Energy Trader and Market Analyst at SN | Aboitiz Power Group, and I quickly moved into the data science realm, honing my skills and expertise in multiple data scientist roles at Savvysherpa Asia, Inc., ABSCBN, and Tribe Group Co AU. Throughout my career, I have achieved impressive feats, such as single-handedly building a data science team at Boom AI, where I reduced call auditor manpower by 80% and increased transcription accuracy by 20%. As the Consulting CTO/CDO at NXTLVL Farms, I created an entire data warehousing framework, automating product inventory management and integrating multiple data sources. My commitment to empowering others is evident in my role at the For The Women (FTW) Foundation, where I created teaching content and conducted data science training sessions for underprivileged women seeking to transition into new careers. With a strong foundation in Applied Physics from the University of the Philippines Diliman and Master of Applied Business Analytics from the University of Asia and Pacific, I am a lifelong learner, constantly expanding my knowledge through various trainings and certifications.
